Review of Active Life: Outdoor Challenge for Wii by
Anquay
Advantages: Excellent source of fun physical exercise
Disadvantages: None
Outdoor Challenge for Wii is the perfect video game. It will get you off the couch , and it will make you laugh. But more importantly, it will get your heart pumping and your glands sweating.
The communication between the floor pad and the Wii bar is flawless. It never fails. After the initial set up with the Wii remote, you can control the entire game with a tap of your toe on the floor pad. Very cool !
It offers a nice variety of games, which ...

Advantages: easy to play
Disadvantages: the features
...the PC in May 2006, Ultimate Duck Hunting promised, and I quote, 'the most realistic game hunting of ducks. " A bold assertion, but at this time, they are right. Review of Rock Band: Special Edition for Wii by
stash
Advantages: good
Disadvantages: none
Rock Band, while adding some new features to music based games, overall still borrows too many features from Guitar Hero, while still not quite maintaining some of Guitar Hero's better qualities, such as in the case of the guitar peripheral, which was overall difficult to use, as the buttons and the strum bar were rather cumbersome, compared to the controller developed for Guitar Hero. However, vocals and drums were quite enjoyable to play, and the ... ...quite a solid game, with a good, wide-ranging song selection, and apart from the crappy guitar controller, the only qualms I have about this game is the fact that it needs to differentiate itself a little more from Guitar Hero. While it IS made by the same group of programmers that made Guitar Hero before the company was bought out by Activision, nearly everything is exactly the same, just slightly renamed and given a fresh coat of paint. ...

Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party for Wii
Review of Dance Dance Revolution: Hottest Party for Wii by
chaineee
Advantages: good
Disadvantages: n
I definitely did have high expectations for this game - I had played it on the playstation and the xbox in numerous versions and was starting to get a little bored of the traditional gameplay. I must (with excitement) admit that this game EXCEEDED these expectations. I think the addition of the Nunchuck to get the upper body involved as well was GENIUS as it adds a little extra something for those of us who liked the older versions.
Everyone in ... ...7-40+. It's also a great way to keep in shape - like with the older versions of DDR, there is a calorie counter mode (and this one is password protected as well!). It takes a while to unlock all of the songs but it's also a great feeling when you finally do so! ...
