Outdoor Challenge for Wii is the perfect video game. It will get you off the couch , and it will make you laugh. But more importantly, it will get your heart pumping and your glands sweating. Rock Band, while adding some new features to music based games, overall still borrows too many features from Guitar Hero, while still not quite maintaining some of Guitar Hero's better qualities, such as in the case of the guitar peripheral, which was overall difficult to use, as the buttons and the strum bar were rather cumbersome, compared to the controller developed for Guitar Hero. ...quite a solid game, with a good, wide-ranging song selection, and apart from the crappy guitar controller, the only qualms I have about this game is the fact that it needs to differentiate itself a little more from Guitar Hero. I definitely did have high expectations for this game - I had played it on the playstation and the xbox in numerous versions and was starting to get a little bored of the traditional gameplay. I must (with excitement) admit that this game EXCEEDED these expectations.
